Onboard Information
With this Onboard ABC, you have all the important information you need during your stay. We wish you a pleasant time on board!
Emergency: The alarm button in your cabin should only be pressed in an actual emergency! In emergencies, a loud alarm will be triggered on the ship. When you hear this, please proceed immediately to the sundeck to the designated meeting points, where the crew will provide you with further instructions.
Doctor/Pharmacy: Please contact the reception if you are not feeling well. A doctor can be reached ashore at any time. The reception is available by phone 24/7.
Payment: The onboard currency is EURO. On our hotel ships, your personal expenses such as bar drinks or shop souvenirs will be charged to your room number and paid at the end of the trip with VISA or MasterCard credit cards, German EC cards, or cash in EURO. Currency exchange is not possible on board.
Comments: If you have any requests for changes, suggestions, or complaints, please contact the reception immediately to address them promptly or to implement your wishes.
Toiletries: If you have forgotten items such as a toothbrush, deodorant, or shaving utensils, the reception offers a small selection of toiletries for purchase.
Electricity: There are several sockets in your cabin with a voltage of 220 V (European standard). For safety reasons, only shavers, hairdryers, and chargers may be used in the cabin.
Windows: Please always close the French balcony doors when you leave your cabin. Also, note that insects may enter your room if the doors are open and the lights are on.
Television: The ship is equipped with a satellite system. A remote control is located in your cabin near the television. An overview of the programmed channels can be found in the insert in the folder.
Drinks: Beverages can be purchased on board. Please contact the reception or bar for this.
Hairdryer: A hairdryer is available in the bathroom.
Towel Exchange: To help protect the environment by reducing detergent use, please place the towels you want to be replaced with fresh ones on the floor. Towels on the rack mean that you want to use them again.
Pets: Pets are not allowed on board.
Internet: You can obtain an internet access code at the reception for a fee and use the onboard internet via Wi-Fi. Depending on the mooring location, there may be reception limitations. For more information, please contact the reception.
Cabin Cleaning: If you want to sleep in, please hang the “Do not disturb” sign on the outside of your cabin door. When you leave your cabin in the morning, you can hang the “Please clean the cabin” sign on your door.
Air Conditioning: The ships have air conditioning. While the air conditioning in the restaurant, bar, and public areas is centrally controlled, you can regulate the temperature in your rooms yourself. The air conditioning automatically turns off when the French balcony door is opened.
Tap Water: The water on board is treated and of excellent drinking quality.
Mooring Sites: Temporary visual and noise obstructions may occur. A possible change of mooring site can be made at short notice by the port authority. We will inform you about this before arrival.
Meals: Breakfast is served in buffet form in the ship’s restaurant.
Smoking: Please note that smoking is only permitted on the outer decks. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the ship’s interior and in the rooms. This also applies to e-cigarettes. On the sundeck, please use the ashtrays in the smoking areas. For safety reasons, do not throw cigarettes overboard.
Reception: The reception is open for you 24 hours a day. It is also reachable by phone from the room. The night receptionist makes a security round of about 10 minutes every hour on the hour, during which there may be a short waiting time at the reception. We ask for your understanding.
Safe: Each room has a small safe with a code lock. The operating instructions can also be found in your room. Please read them carefully before using the safe! We do not accept any liability for the contents of the safe.
Sauna: There is a sauna available on the ships. For more information, please contact the reception.
Sundeck: Comfortable deck and sun loungers are available for your free use on the sundeck.
Telephone: Each room is equipped with an internal phone that allows you to make calls within the ship. You can call other rooms by dialing the respective room number.
Toilets: Please do not throw anything inappropriate into the toilet, as this can clog the entire system. Please use the trash can for all hygiene waste.
Stairs: Please note that the stairs on board can be steep and there may be an increased risk of slipping when wet. “One hand belongs to the ship.” Make sure to always use the stair railings and behave cautiously on board.
Doors: The exterior doors in the reception area are automatic doors. They open and close at the push of a button. Therefore, do not stand between the doors, as they may close even then.
Laundry Service: A laundry service is available on board. Please refer to the price list in the closet.
Wake-Up Service: We are happy to wake you up at your desired time. The reception will gladly take your wake-up call request.
